How this directory is built

Listings come from the MSDH On-Site Wastewater certificate-holder search, filtered to Certified Pumper. That search returned 256 pumper records on September 5, 2026; 110 had already expired and are not published. Mississippi certifies individual people, not companies, so we group the remaining certificates by employer — 125 in-state certificates become 116 company cards. The county on each certificate is the holder's business county, not a service-area map.

A Mississippi pumper certificate also covers portable toilets and grease traps, so it is not proof of household septic work on its own. 51 of the 116 companies name septic in their business name; the rest carry a note asking you to confirm before booking. Certificates run to September 30, the earliest expiration on this snapshot being September 30, 2026. Always re-check the official MSDH search before hiring.
